Ranchi 원정 가이드
생각보다 쉬워요Ranchi, capital of Jharkhand, is a green city on a plateau. The airport is only about 5 km from the centre, with direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and other hubs. Late November to early December is the dry season, with daytime highs around 25°C.
교통
Birsa Munda Airport (IXR) in Hinoo is about 5 km from the city centre. IndiGo and Air India Express fly from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and more. By rail, the Vande Bharat from Howrah (Kolkata) reaches Ranchi in about 7 hours (no service on Tuesdays). Get around by car or auto-rickshaw.

- Pahari MandirHilltop Shiva temple in the city centre, about 10 min by car. Hundreds of steps, with a view over Ranchi at the top.
- Tagore HillHill linked to Jyotirindranath Tagore, brother of the poet. About 3 km from the centre, about 10 min by car.
- Jagannath TempleHilltop temple built in 1691, about 10 km from the centre (about 25 min by car).
- Hundru FallsBig waterfall on the Subarnarekha River, about 45 km away (about 1–1.5 hours by car). A half-day trip.
음식
Try Jharkhand specialities such as dhuska (deep-fried rice-and-lentil cakes with a chickpea curry) and litti chokha (roasted dough balls with mashed vegetables). Malpua pancakes are the classic sweet. Hotel restaurants and central chains are easy fallbacks.

Small shops and street stalls are mostly cash (rupees); hotels and larger shops take cards. Ride-hailing may work, but for early, late or out-of-town trips ask your hotel to arrange a car. Get India's e-Visa at indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa at least 4 days ahead. Set up an eSIM before you fly.
안전하게 지내려면
Normal precautions are enough. Stick to bottled water and freshly cooked food. December mornings and nights drop to about 10°C, so pack a warm layer. Use hotel-arranged cars at night, and remove your shoes at temples.

Pahari Mandir on its hill in the centre and Tagore Hill both give views over the city. With half a day free, head out to Hundru Falls.
