Travel guide: Tokyo
Easier than you thinkThe venue is in Shiomi, just a few stops from Tokyo Station on the JR Keiyo Line. Haneda is about an hour away, and stations have plenty of English signs.
Getting there
From Haneda Airport, take the Keikyu Line or Tokyo Monorail toward Tokyo Station (about 30–50 min, ¥510–690 [~$3.50–4.60]), then the JR Keiyo Line to Shiomi (about 10 min). From Narita Airport, the Narita Express or an airport bus reaches Tokyo Station in about 1–1.5 hours. The courts are near Shiomi Station.

Staying safe
Tokyo is generally safe, but watch your bags on crowded trains and in nightlife areas. Install the JNTO 'Safety Tips' app for earthquake alerts. Summers are very hot, so drink water and rest in the shade. Tap water is safe to drink.
With family & friends
Tokyo Disney Resort at Maihama is about 10 minutes away on the Keiyo Line, and Kasai Rinkai Park with its aquarium is close too. Odaiba and Toyosu Market are 20–30 minutes away. Tokyo Station is great for shopping.
